Every year, Mexican Catholics celebrate the feast of the Virgin of Guadalupe. The holiday commemorates the day the Virgin Mary performed a miracle after appearing before a Mexican peasant in 1531. On Wednesday, a church in Harrisonburg, Va. hosted the feast of the Virgin of Guadalupe, a vibrant celebration of Catholic tradition and Mexican culture. The Blessed Sacrament Church is working to integrate its English- and Spanish-speaking communities.
