Churches Of Stockholm

One Sunday in August i took my camera and made a long walk around Stockholm to make photos of as many churches as possible. I didn’t manage to catch them all, but most of the famous ones. However, some of the photos here were taken in October, because I wanted to include some churches I missed the first time around. All the time I worked with this project I felt very inspired and full of reverence towards these majestic buildings and the spiritual power that influenced their builders. I felt the presence of The Holy Spirit throughout my work with this video. The music is a melody I made a couple of years ago. Fiesta Of The Nations 2008-El Paso, Texas-Oct. 10-12.

An exciting mix of the sights, sounds and flavors of many cultures will be featured at the Fourth Annual Fiesta of the Nations, October 10-12 at 8240 North Loop Drive, El Paso, Texas. Ethnic food, music, and dance, as well as games, rides, and fun for the whole family are offered at the event, presented by Open Arms Community, a non-profit Catholic organization, in an open field which is the future site of the Holy Spirit Catholic Retreat and Renewal Center. This Fiesta is unique because it provides an opportunity for many different ethnic groups to showcase their cultures and raise money for their individual communities and charities. Last year there were eighteen performing groups. There will be even more this year. Performers include the German Schuplattler group from the German Air Defense School at Ft. Bliss, Polynesian dancers, Hellenic Greek Dancers, New World African Drums, Middle Eastern, Danzon, Ballet Folklorico, Mysterio Musical Durango style music and dance, Empyre Scots Pipes and Drums, Brazilean Capoeira, Filipino Dancers, Texas Line Dance, Acoustic Reggae and more. Dance bands at 9 PM nightly include Factor X on Friday and Saturday and La Imperial Sonora on Sunday. The Fiesta runs for three days, Friday and Saturday, 5 PM-12 PM, and Sunday 3 PM-11 PM.
